A postpartum planning session gives you the tools to have a better postpartum.

Maybe this is your first baby and you’re not sure what to expect. Or maybe you want this postpartum experience to be better than the last.

Spend two hours with me and we’ll make a plan for:

> Your recovery in the immediate postpartum period, and long-term
> Your postpartum food - you’ll know what to eat, how to stock your freezer and pantry, and who’s cooking for you and when
> Your breastfeeding nutrition and support system, if you plan to breastfeed
> Replenishing nutrients after pregnancy
> Your mental wellbeing and self-care as you adjust to being a mum
> Caring for your older children when you have a new baby
> Your postpartum support system

You’ll come away with a clear path for the first few days, the first six weeks, and the first six months that’s tailored to you and your needs and situation.

The session is followed up with two weeks of email support, and a custom postpartum recipe collection.

A Postpartum Planning Session can be conducted online, in-person at my Kingston or Dunlop offices, or in your home on Thursdays. I think a planning session works best in-person at your home but it’s up to you.

The price includes travel within Belconnen, Gungahlin and the Inner North. Travel to other areas of Canberra/Queanbeyan is an additional $10 per visit.

What are your qualifications?

Can you work with my dietary requirements?
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and most other requirements are no problem. Send me a message if you’d like to make sure.

I have a medical condition, can you help?
I probably can, but you may be better served by a dietitian. Message me and I can let you know.

Can my partner or support person attend the planning session?
Yes, of course!

Can I bring my children?
Yes, my Dunlop office is child-friendly with toys, books and tv.

How do I book?
To get started, book using the form above. For online consultations, I’ll then email you a Zoom link. For in-person, I’m at FEEDinc on Tuesdays and Dunlop on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For in-home visits on Thursdays, please provide your address on the intake form.

Where is FEEDinc?
FEEDinc is located on Giles St, Kingston between Tench and Jardine Streets. Enter at Laverty Pathology and keep going to the courtyard, then turn right and enter the sliding door. Parking at Telopea park is free for 2 hrs and it’s a short walk up Jardine or Tench streets to Giles Street. There is also paid parking on Giles Street.

Where is your Dunlop office?
As it’s my home, I’ll email you the address after you’ve booked.

How do I pay?
Payment is due after the session. For online, I’ll email you an invoice which you can pay with a PayPal account or credit card.
For in-person, I take credit or debit card payment with a Square reader.

Can I claim your fee on my care plan or through private health insurance?
Sadly no, nutritionists are not covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
